In our end we supply all MIDs with transaction rules containing high flexibility. This ensures that merchants will have a much harder time to act fraudulent, but also allow the merchant to require 3DS/SCA on certain markets, on certain cards, for certain amounts, etc. A strong tool to control behavior, but also highly flexible to give the merchant room to grow.

By the end of 2020, all European merchants will be required to support 3-D Secure 2, and Clearhaus will accept transactions from the new version of the 3DSecure protocol.
