Verifone and Unzer deepen partnership to strengthen unified commerce capabilities - including Clearhaus partners in Denmark
Berlin, February 19, 2026 – Clearhaus, part of the European payment company Unzer, is enabling Danish merchants to benefit from the expanded partnership between Unzer and payment technology company Verifone. Both companies are working together to make in-store payments faster, easier, and more seamless, offering merchants a full payment ecosystem that goes beyond the terminal.
Rethinking the checkout process together
As part of the wider Unzer-Verifone partnership, merchants gain access to a complete payment solution – from payment terminals to cashier software and beyond. Merchants benefit from faster implementation, simplified operations, and a smoother shopping experience. Verifone contributes its innovative terminals and payment apps, while Unzer provides software solutions, seamless processes from onboarding to payout, and tools that connect every point of sale.

Strong partnership, clear course: Easy payment – wherever the customers are
Retailers on both sides benefit from more choice and tailor-made solutions: Depending on the model, the Android-based devices range from compact, mobile terminals that fit in a pocket to variants with integrated barcode scanners, long battery life, and stationary and portable options. Features such as contactless payment by card or wallet, digital receipts, and – depending on the model – additional security and biometric functions round out the offering.
Transaction data is transmitted to Unzer tools in real-time and can be used for sales analysis, inventory overviews, and improved personnel planning. At the same time, integrated security and fraud protection mechanisms increase security for merchants and customers.
Completing each other in the merchant ecosystem
The partnership strengthens a broader commerce ecosystem: whether a merchant sells in-store, online, via vending machines, or through payment links, the Unzer-Verifone combination ensures everything works together in one connected system. In-store, smart mobile checkouts streamline sales; online, secure payments are fully integrated. Meanwhile, Unzer’s digital tools help merchants manage sales, inventory, and staff across all channels.

First customer momentum already visible in Denmark
A first example of the partnership in action is FTZ, Denmark’s largest supplier to the automotive industry. The company supplies spare parts, tools, tires, and consumables to more than 11,000 professional workshops through a network of more than 50 locations across Denmark, the Faroe Islands, and Greenland, and employs around 1,200 people. As part of the rollout, payment terminals are being implemented progressively across all company’s stores; the first 44 terminals are already live. The project demonstrates how the combined Unzer-Verifone solution can be efficiently integrated into existing retail structures and rolled out across multiple locations.
