Clearhaus expands with new payment solution in physical stores
- Clearhaus can now help physical stores in Denmark accept payments, making it easier for small and medium-sized businesses to manage sales across both in-store and online.

Aarhus, February 10, 2025 – Clearhaus, one of Denmark’s leading online payment acquirers, is now expanding its business area to include processing payments in physical stores (POS – Point of Sale). With the new solution, small and medium-sized retailers can easily manage their total sales – both in-store and online – in one unified setup.
The expansion positions Clearhaus as a key player in the transition to unified commerce: an integrated ecosystem that brings together online, offline, and mobile payment channels in a single solution.
The POS solution is offered to physical stores through Clearhaus’ parent company Unzer and in collaboration with Verifone. Unzer is a leading European payment company, and the goal is to help even more Danish retailers provide their customers with a smooth and simple shopping experience – no matter where the purchase takes place.

To be able to offer POS solutions in Denmark, Unzer collaborates with the technology company Verifone. The partnership combines Unzer’s experience with online payments and data integration with Verifone’s payment terminals and software. Unzer will introduce unified commerce
In the coming months, Unzer will focus on realizing its unified commerce vision for Danish retailers by creating a closer connection between online and offline sales channels. The company will expand its software solutions and introduce POS Acquiring under the Clearhaus brand, so stores can handle all transactions through a single, unified platform.
