How does it work?

If you have a subscription or membership-based business model, chances are that your customers pay a certain amount on a weekly or monthly basis.

We enable you to automate these payments so that your customers do not have to actively make a separate payment each week/month. Instead, they will give you consent to withdraw a certain amount each week/month. This setup will be automated by your payment gateway. Therefore, one condition is that your gateway must be able to support recurring transactions.

Why should I use recurring payments in my webshop?

If your customers’ subscriptions or membership fees are paid manually each month, there’s a risk that you may lose some customers each month. Either because they forget to pay or because they pay too late, and you then remove them from your system.

Often, it is not because the customers don’t want to keep their subscription/membership, but simply because they are busy or forget about the payments - especially if the payments are due on the 1st of every month. Automated recurring payments are easier for both you and your customers.

You will also save time and resources on sending out separate invoices for each payment.

So, if you want to retain your customers and ensure that you get your payments on time, automating your recurring transactions is a good idea. You just have to make sure that your customers know what they are agreeing to and that they are able to cancel the recurring payments at any time.
